Here is his inspiring story: Amir met with an accident when he went to deliver his brother’s lunch box at sawmill at the age of 8. Even after operation, the doctors were unable to save his limps. The injury cost the family its entire savings, but this did not discourage Amir. People would make fun of him, call him names, say he was useless. His teacher asked him to stop coming to school, and said education was not for him.

Yet, passionate Amir decided to write his own fate with out limps. Slowly, he learnt to use his feet for daily chores. Amir can now shave, wear clothes, wash clothes and do just about anything with his feet. He holds the bat between his neck and chin, bowls using his right leg, and fields well too.
