Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister of Telangana, announced that the State Government would develop  Khajaguda lake and the adjoining road.  

On the 15th of April, Friday, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) took to Twitter and responded to a request of a kid for developing lake and its adjoining areas for the weekend.  A child tagged KTR and tweeted, “Thank you #KTR uncle for the beautiful #Khajaguda Lake road showing the #HiTech #Hyderabad. Pic Credit – @babakishore Wish if there are no vehicles moving on this road on weekend evenings, kids can walk freely. @KTRTRS #TanishMutta”

Responding to the kid’s tweet, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said the plan is to convert the water body and its adjoining road into a recreational place for families.  The Tweet read, “Thanks for the kind words. We want to make this road and the adjoining lake even more beautiful places for families and kids to hang out  @ZC_SLP is working on it and hopefully, we can do something along the lines of an exclusive event for weekends.”

The development work is expected to be finished soon.
