Vemulawada: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said that it is not possible to conduct assembly elections at this point of time. She said that the then BRS government failed to pay Rs. 1200 crores due to Sarpanchs for last 16 months. Situation would’nt have been so critical if bills are cleared ontime.

Seethakka along with her family members visited Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple and offered special prayers. Temple authorities accorded a ceremonial reception with Poorna Kumbham.

Addressing media after Darshan Seethakka said that state government is doing intense exercise to pay salaries and bills on time. “We are rting to pay salaries and pensions by 5th of every month. Conducting Sarpach elections is not possible at this point of time and we have to do intense exercise on this. We are committed to fulfill the six guarantees given during the elections.
