The Telangana State Election Commission issued a notification regarding the enrollment of the voter’s list in the Wanarpathy region of the Telugu State.
On the 15th of December, Mr. Vikas Raj, the Chief Electoral Officer of Wanarpathy constituency, directed the concerned district collectors to complete the enrollment process soon. He asked all the officials to resolve issues related to voters’ enrollment completely by the 26th of December and start preparing the voters list.
The announcement was made after the Election Commission asked the concerned CEO to ensure, every district in the State completes the enrollment process of voters by the given deadline.
The CEO Mr. Vikas Raj said that even though some people live in cities due to migration, they still need to vote and their names should be there on the list. Furthermore, details of those 18 years and above with disabilities, those 100 years above along with the ratio of male, female and others should be updated completed and submitted to the Revenue District Officer.
In addition, after completing the process, the final list should be prepared and should be submitted.
It is to be noted, the Telugu State of Telangana is scheduled to conduct its Assembly elections in 2023.
