The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has threatened to lay siege to Chief Minister’s Camp Office Pragathi Bhavan, protesting against Bhairi Naresh, an atheist, over his remark.

Recently, Bhairi Naresh, a leader of Bharatha Nasthika Sangham, made a negative remark against the origin and birth of Lord Ayyappa Swamy, during a public meeting.  The comment was shared on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, gaining a lot of criticism from netizens.  In Telangana, many organisations like the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Bhagyanagar Ayyappa Seva Samiti and All India Ayyappa Seva Samiti, staged a protest and demanded strict action against Bhairi Naresh.  In another First Information Report filed with the State Police, a woman demanded strict action and punishment for Bhairi, saying it has been a trend to disgrace Hindu gods, in the name of publicity.

He has not been arrested for his controversial comments against Hindu gods.

On the 10th of January, Tuesday, the VHP called for a protest and addressed a press conference threatening to siege the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Camp Office.

VHP President Mr. Surender Reddy and secretary Mr. Pandarinath alleged that the police were violating the law as per the orders of the Chief Minister and were supporting the accused.  Mr. Surender Reddy also alleged that the Telangana Police failed to arrest Rajesh, who hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.
