The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees and Joint Action Committee (JAC,) on the 19th of November, conducted a crucial meeting.

Opposition parties like Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the Indian National Congress (INC,)  TSRTC employees and leaders and the JAC leaders attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the TSRTC took the final decision regarding the ongoing strike, which started on the 5th of October.

E. Ashwathama Reddy, the Convenor of the JAC and the TSRTC employees unanimously decided to continue the strike.

The TSRTC requested the Government to hold talks after the employees and the JAC temporarily dropped their major demand—merging the TSRTC and the TRS Government.  However, the State Government is adamant about its decision and is not responding to the request of the TSRTC employees to hold a discussion with them and agree to their remaining demands.

Meanwhile, on the 20th of November, the TSRTC strike entered its 47th day.
