The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) on the 11th of March, issued orders to release the salaries of all the Telangana State Road Transport Corporations (TSRTC) employees.

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, issued the orders and directed the TSRTC officials to pay salaries to the employees for 47 day strike.

In 2019, Approximately 48,800 employees were on strike against the State Government for 50 days.   However, the strike ended with the negotiations with the State Government CM KCR.  

The TRS Government released a total of Rs. 235 crores for the salary payment of all the employees.

Besides, the TRS also allocated Rs. 1,000 crores in the Budget 2020-2021, for the TSRTC and with an enhanced retirement age to 60 years.
