The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government announced to pay two months Pay Revision Commission (PRC) 2021 arrears to all government employees.

The Telangana Finance Department released a notification regarding the same on Tuesday. The orders read that the TRS Government would pay April and May 2021 PRC dues to the employees.

The Government would pay the dues in 18 equal installments from May 2022 to the employees of all the departments under the government sector, corporations, and co-operative societies. The K. Chandrashekar Rao Government also announced to pay the arrear PRC to the families of the government employees who died.

The notice read, “The government, after careful examination, have decided to pay the revised pay scales, 2020 arrears for the period from 01.04.2021 to 31.05.2021 in eighteen equal monthly installments starting from the month of April, 2022 payable in the month of May, 2022. The arrears shall be paid in lump sum to the family/legal heirs in case of demise of the employee.”

It is to be noted, for the past ten months, the State Government employees and retirees have been waiting for PRC 2021 (pay revision commission) arrears. Later, in June 2021, the government issued directives declaring that these arrears would be paid before the current fiscal year 2021-22 ended.
