On the 29th of November, Monday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, chaired a Cabinet meeting. During the meeting, the Telangana Cabinet approved Rs. 22.5 crore for financial assistance to the families who lost their kind due to the nation wide protest against the laws, which are now repealed by the Central Government.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, addressed a press conference after the Cabinet meeting and said, “As announced earlier, the State Government will pay Rs. 3 lakh each to the families of 750 farmers killed during the year-long agitation.” Addressing the media, KCR also urged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government to pay Rs. 25 lakh each to all the families of 750 farmers, who lost their lives.
