The Telangana Government, on the 22nd of November, appointed K. Venkat Reddy as the new Tahsildar of Abdullapurmet, Telangana.
After the murder of Vijaya Reddy, the former Tahsildar of Abdullapurmet, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) appointed the new Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO.) Vijaya Reddy was set on fire by a man identified as Suresh. The reason behind the murder was said to be a land dispute.
A month after Vijaya Reddy’s murder, Mr. Venkat Reddy took over the post of Tahsildar of Abdullapurmet from Krishna, the Deputy Tahsildar of Abdullapurmet, who was handling the responsibility so far.
Mr. Venkat Reddy took over as the Tahsildar of Abdullapurmet on the 22nd of November.
