On the 1st of November, Tuesday, workers of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got into a clash.

The fight broke out during a road show of Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the TRS, who is campaigning for the Munugode by election.  The workers clashed with each other by showering punches and beating the opposite side with sticks.  However, soon the situation was under control after the intervention of the police, preventing major violence from occurring.

Meanwhile, according to local sources, during the clash, Mr. P. Rajeshwar Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of TRS, Mr. Sudarshan Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Mr. Jagadish, the Zila Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) Chairman and other TRS leaders have received injuries.

Meanwhile, the Munugode by election is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of November, for which, the BJP, the Indian National Congress (INC) and the TRS are fighting.   The results of the Munugode by election, with  approximately 2.41 lakh eligible voters, would be announced on the 6th of November.
