On the 17th of February, Thursday, the Telangana Police arrested Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC.)

It is to be noted, Mr. Revanth Reddy was taken under custody to prevent a protest.  He along with the Indian National Congress (INC) youths called for a protest across Telangana.  The protest was called in the view of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana’s birthday. 

Mr. Revanth Reddy took to his Twitter handle and shared a video of being arrested by the police.  The tweet said, “Second day in the row Police arrested so that CM can celebrate his birthday. Unemployed youth are giving up lives… Is this time to celebrate?!” 

The Telangana Police arrested Mr. Revanth Reddy from his residence in Jubilee Hills and was taken to Jubilee Hills Police Station. 

Meanwhile, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) cadres and leaders are celebrating the 68th birthday of the TRS President Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao.
