Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, the Chairman of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Party (TPCC)  reportedly is suffering from the mild COVID-19, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms.

On the 13th of August, Saturday, Mr. A. Revanth Reddy tested positive for the deadly Wuhan virus (COVID-19) and underwent self-quarantine.

Furthermore, Mr. A. Revanth Reddy also cancelled his participation in the Munugode padayatra, ahead of the Munugode by-polls.  The yatra is being conducted by the Indian National Congress party unit in Telangana.  Initially, the padayatra was being held under the leadership of the TPCC Chief Mr. A. Revanth Reddy.  However, after his illness, Mr. Revanth Reddy informed the news to all the party leaders and kept himself away from the yatra.

It is said that the padayatra is scheduled to kick start from Narayanpur to Choutuppal and all arrangements were made for the yatra.

It is known that Revanth Reddy tendered an apology to Komatireddy Venkat Reddy who denied taking part in the padayatra.
