On the 8th of June, Yadadri temple of Telangana re opened after 2 months of the nationwide lockdown for devotees.

The Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple situated in Yadadri, Telangana is now open for darshan from the 8th of June, after the State Government’s approval.

However, the temple authorities were asked to maitain social distancing and sanitize the temple for the public to curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

The temple management have arranged thermal screening for the staff working and the evotees before allowing them to enter inside the temple.

Geetha Reddy, the temple executive officer, who is incharge of the whole procedure said that they will continue Arjitha sevas indirectly for the people who paid through online.  She said, “We have made all the arrangements for darshan and also for the sale of prasadam,”

District collector of the temple, Anitha Ramachandran along with the temple executive officer inspected the arrangements at the temple before opening for the temple for public.

Besides famous Yadadri temple, temples like  the thousand pillared temple in Warangal, Jogulamba temple in Gadwal also opened on the 8th of June.

Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, the Minister for Agriculture in Telangana, on the first day visited the Jogulamba Balabrahmeshwara temple in Alampur and offered prayer.

He also inspected if the temple is following the COVID-19 precaution norms, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs of India.
