Telangana Wuhan Virus Update: Reports 153 New Cases With 2 Deaths And 160 Recoveries In 24 Hours

On Thursday, the 11th of November, Telangana reported 153 new cases with two deaths and 160 recoveries.

The new cases were confirmed by conducting 36,510 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection.  This is the second consecutive day that the State Health Department conducted fewer than 40,000 tests for COVID-19.  With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted  2.79 crores (2,79,50,707) COVID-19 tests till date. 

The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis.  The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.

According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,)  is the only area, which reports more than 50 cases regularly.  Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 52 new COVID-19 cases. 

With this, Telangana now has 6,73,240 positive cases, of which 3,737 are active cases, 6,65,432 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,971 are deceased.    

The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.85% and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
