On Sunday, the 14th of November, Telangana reported 105 new cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) This is the lowest number of single day Wuhan virus cases in the past 2 months. Besides 105 new cases, the State witnessed 0 deaths and 106 recoveries.
The new cases were confirmed by conducting 23,888 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. On Sunday, the Telangana State Health Department conducted the fewer number of COVID-19 cases, compared to everyday 35,000 – 38,000 tests. With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted 2.80 crores COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) is the only area, which reports more than 50 cases regularly. Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 59 new COVID-19 cases.
With this, Telangana now has 6,73,574 positive cases, of which 3,740 are active cases, 6,65,861 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,972 are deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.85% and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
