In a tragic incident, a bunch of stray dogs in the Kazipet region of Telangana, killed a six year old boy.

The victim was identified as Chotu was playing in a nearby park near railway station, when a pack of stray dogs mauled Chotu to death. Six year old Cjoti was rushed to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital (MGM) but could not survive.

The incident occurred on the 19th of May, Friday, confirmed by the Kazipet Police, which registered a case.  Furthermore, the devastating news sent shockwaves throughout the nomadic community from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, as the young boy belonged to their community.  The boy’s parents, who make a living by selling small daily-use items at various junctions in the city, are shattered by this unfathomable loss.

Meanwhile, the family and relatives of the victim are demanding justice for the six year old, and strict action to control the issue of stray dogs.  It is to be noted, in the past few months, issues of stray dogs in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits are concerning the residents of the region, especially households with kids below 5 years old.

Furthermore, this is not the first such incident where a bunch of stray dogs mauled a kid to death. In the past a similar incident happened in Hyderabad.
