Intensifying the poaching of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) case, the Telangana Special Investigation (SIT) team issued notices to more people.

According to sources, on the 25th of November, the Telangana SIT issued notice to five others, including Mr. Manilal, Mr. Sarath, Mr. Prashant, Mr. Vimal and Mr. Prathapan. The aforementioned people said to have connections with Mr. Jagguji Swamy, a Kerala based doctor, who is said to be involved in the alleged purchase attempt of the TRS MLAs.

The notice to Mr. Manilal, Mr. Sarath, Mr. Prashant, Mr. Vimal and Mr. Prathapan were given under 41A section of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC.) The notice also mentioned that if they fail to appear before the Telangana SIT for investigation, the police would be allowed to arrest the five named in the TRS MLA Poaching Case.

Meanwhile, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) extended the judicial remand custody of the three accused arrested in the MLA poaching case to the 9th of December.

It is to be noted, the TRS MLA Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy started a sting operation, and exposed the BJP leaders’s aides trying to poach TRS MLAs by offering them Rs. 100 crores. Based on Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy’s complaint, the Telangana Police arrested three people.

On the 10th of November, Thursday, the police took the three accused, Mr. Ramachandra Bharati from Delhi, Mr. Simhayajulu from Tirupati and Mr. Nanda Kumar, a businessman from Hyderabad into custody, for further investigation. The interrogation was conducted at the Rajendranagar Police Station, on the 11th of November.

Moreover, KCR released a video in which a voice was heard offering Rs. 100 crores to the TRS MLAs and blamed the BJP for poaching their MLAs.

The investigation into the matter is still underway.
