M. Mahendar Reddy, the Director General of Police (DGP,) on the 1st of January, thanked the people of Telangana for peaceful New Year celebrations.
Mr. Reddy said the public cooperated with the police personnel and followed all the traffic rules and regulations.
Meanwhile, Mr. Reddy also shared about the New Year celebrations at the Police Officers Mess in Masab Tank of which the police personnel were a part.
Mahendar Reddy also met Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana and K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mohammad Mahmood Ali, the Home Minister of Telangana, to wish them a happy New Year.
On the other hand, Anjani Kumar, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, V.C. Sajjanar, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner and Mahesh M. Bhagwat, the Rachakonda Police Commissioner, participated in the New Year’s event in their respective areas with senior officials.
The New Year celebrations in Hyderabad were incident free and peaceful.
