Ms. K. Kavitha, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Nizamabad, skipped the Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogation, in the Delhi Liquor Scam.

On the 16th of March, the ED issued summon and asked her to appear before them in connection with the controversial Delhi Excise Policy Scam.  However, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader did not appear before the ED panel, and submitted a letter.

In the letter, Ms. K. Kavitha cited  that she has filed a petition in the Supreme Court (SC) and the matter is pending with the court, therefore she did not appear before the ED.

Notably, the ED issued notice to Ms. K. Kavitha, the prime suspect in the Delhi Liquor scam, from the ‘south central,’to appear before the ED.  Ahead of the arrival of Ms. K. Kavitha, her followers and BRS cadres gathered outside the office.

Furthermore, across Hyderabad, posters with #Bye Bye Modi are also pasted, criticising the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)  Furthermore, the ED is all set to question Ms. K. Kavitha, the daughter of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
