Six people of a family lost their lives after a massive fire broke out in a house in Gudipalli Venkatpur Mandal of Mancherial district, Telangana.

The tragic incident took place on the night of the 16th of December, Friday, confirmed police sources.   In the fatal incident, six people including the owner of the house and two children died.  The deceased people were identified as Shivaiah, the owner of the house, his wife Padma, children Preeti and Hima Bindu a relative Monica and a  Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) employee Shantayya.  All the people who were in deep sleep burnt into ashes.

The cause of the tragic incident is yet to be known, but the police who is investigating the case suspect it to be a short circuit.  Furthermore, the police are also investigation a murder angle, considering if anyone had grudges with the family and planned the murder by setting their house on fire.

As of now, the Mancherial Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
