K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 17th of July, met the leaders of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) at Telangana Bhavan, Telangana.

The meeting was scheduled to discuss the membership drive, construction of the Secretariat buildings, Municipal Act and other issues, which will be discussed in the two day Assembly session.

The Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs,) the Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs,) the Cabinet Ministers and the Members of Parliament (MPs) were present at the Cabinet meeting.

The TRS Government organised a two day Assembly session on the 18th and 19th of July, specifically to pass the Municipal Act.

During the meeting, KCR said, he will personally design the policies, which will be followed by the leaders to achieve their goal of gaining more party members.

KCR said, he will also direct the Party leaders regarding various issues.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also said he will review the performance of the MLAs and MPs of Telangana, as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders also won a few seats in Telangana.

The Chief Minister will also explain to the leaders about the steps and precautions to be taken during the Municipal elections.

The Municipal elections are scheduled to be held in the first week of August. However, an official announcement regarding the dates is yet to be made.
