The Telangana High Court (HC,) on the 17th of March, Friday, announced its verdict in the petition filed by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRP) MP YS Avinash Reddy.

On Friday, the Telangana HC bench rejected the petition of Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, seeking exemption from interrogation into the YS Vivekananda Murder Case.  Furthermore, the Telangana High Court ordered the Member of Parliament (MP) of Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, to cooperate with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the investigation.

It is to be noted, the CBI Hyderabad issued notice to Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, a suspect in the controversial political murder and asked to appear for interrogation.  In the lates summon, the Kadapa MP moved the Telangana High Court, which reviewed the peitition and reserved the verdict for today, the 17th of March.

It is to be noted, Mr. Avinash Reddy is being questioned in the 2019 controversial murder of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, uncle of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.  He is one of the accused who helped in then murder of Mr. Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.

Notably Devireddy Shiva Shankar Reddy allegedly conspired to the murder of Mr. Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, the uncle of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.  As per the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) probe, in 2017, Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy contested from Kadapa district and won on the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) ticket, which Devireddy was eyeing.  The tussle between the two leaders started since then, in 2019, Devireddy along with one Yera Gangi Reddy, a close associate killed Mr. Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.

According to sources, Mr. Avinash Reddy is attending an enquiry related to murder case of Mr. Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy for the second time.  He is currently at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) principal office in Hyderabad.
