Late Colonel Santosh Babu’s wife Santoshi was felicitated by the Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan.
On the 26th of January, Ms. Soundararajan, felicitated Santoshi, the widow of Colonel Santosh Babu. The event on the 72nd Republic Day came after Colonel Santosh Babu was posthumously conferred with Maha Vir Chakra, the second highest gallantry award in the Nation.
The Governor felicitated Santoshi and her children at Raj Bhavan.
Soundararajan also felicitated Shikha Goel, Additional Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad and N. Shiva Shankar Reddy, Inspector General of Police (Nizamabad Range) on being selected for the prestigious President’s Police Medals on the Republic Day.
Chadalavada Hemesh was also felicitated by the Governor, a 13 year old has been awarded Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for developing a wearable device for those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease.
The Governor also honoured Lt. General TSA Narayanan, Commandant of Military College of EME, Secunderabad for getting the award of Ati Vishishta Seva Medal.
The Governor appreciated their dedicated services and thus bringing laurels to Telangana and India.
