The Telangana Government, on the 17th of December, started the training of government teachers under the National Initiative for School Heads’ and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA.)

According to the NISHTHA programme, government teachers teaching students up to class 8 would be given training for a month, which would enhance the skills of teachers for students of primary classes. 

The training started from the 17th of December and would continue till the 17th of January, 2020.  During the training, teachers would be trained about social impact and create awareness about the same amongst the students.

Venkataiah, the Mandal Education Officer (MEO) of Tandur, addressed the media and said, “In the first phase, 300 teachers will be trained for five days. Food and snacks are also provided.” 

The MEO of Peddemul and Bashirabad were also present at the press meet.
