The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) is expected to announce admissions in degree college soon.

The notification regarding the new degree college admission would be released in the next few days and admissions would begin from July.

Professor R. Limbadri, the President of the Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST,) said this year, admissions would be held through an online process.

The DOST Convenor said that the admissions will be held online through the DOST website.

Mr. Limbadri also said after the admission process in July, classes might begin from the 1st of September.

Meanwhile, the TSCHE is planning to answer the students’ queries regarding admission through Whatsapp this year.

Students willing for admission in degree colleges are advised to check TSCHE on DOST portal — dost.cgg.gov.in.

Official dates for admission would be announced by the end of June.

Concerned about the delay in admission and other processes , the State Government planned to reduce holidays in the academic calender of 2020-2021.

However, the professor clarified, there would be no reduction in syllabus or credits for degree courses and said that a detailed schedule of classes would be released soon.

Meanwhile, all the entrance exams in the state such as EAMCET, ECET, ICET will be held as per released schedule, from the 9th of July.

Stay tuned for further updates.
