As of the 7th of August, there are 17,907 vacant beds, including oxygen beds and ICU beds with ventilators for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

The Telangana Health department, as per the guidance of the State Government are updating the beds availability on a regular basis.

According to the released media bulletin, as of the 7th of August, 17,907 beds are available in private and government hospitals.

In addition, the State Government also announced beds in private teaching hospitals for free of cost.

Beds in Government hospitals and private teaching hospitals:

Isolation beds: 12,284 (available,) 703 (occupied) and 11,581 (vacant.)

Oxygen Beds: 5,861 (available,) 1,431 (occupied) and 4430 (vacant.)

ICU beds: 2,251 (available,) 355 (occupied) and 1896 (vacant. )

Total: 20,396 (available, ) 2,489 (occupied) and 17907 (vacant.)

Beds in Government Hospitals:

Regular isolation beds: 2,522 (total) 703 (occupied,) and 1819 (vacant.)

Beds with Oxygen supply: 4,663 (total,) 1,431 (occupied) and 3,232 (vacant.)

ICU beds with ventilators: 1,251 (total,)355 (occupied) and 896 (vacant.)

Total: 8436 (total,); 2589 (occupied); 5947 (vacant)

Beds in private hospitals:

Regular isolation beds: 2824 (Total); 1617 (Occupied); 1207 (Vacant)

Beds with Oxygen supply: 2628 (total); 1652 (Occupied); 976 (vacant)

ICU beds with ventilators: 1367 (total); 822 (Occupied); 545 (vacant.)

Total: 6819 (total); 4091 (occupied); 2728 (vacant.)
