Till the 9th of October, Telangana’s Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases mounted to 2,08,535.

On the night of the 8th of October, the State Health Department released a media bulletin updating 1,891 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths.

Number of recoveries recorded in the past 24 hours stood at 1,878.

Of the total 1,891 new cases, 285 cases were recorded in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and 1,606 cases in different districts of Telangana.

Of the total 1,606 district cases, 32 from Adilabad, 65 from Bhadradri, 37 from Jagtial, 25 from Jangaon, 18 from Bhupalpally, 24 from Gadwal, 41 from Kamareddy, 97 from Karimnagar, 72 from Khammam, 10 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 31 from Mahabubnagar, 40 from Mahabubabad, 23 from Mancherial, 29 from Medak, 195 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 31 from Mulugu, 24 from Nagarkurnool, 128 from Nalgonda, 13 from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 46 from Nizamabad, 36 from Peddapalli, 42 from Siricilla, 175 from Rangareddy, 47 from Sangareddy, 64 each from Siddipet, 39 from Suryapet, 23 from Vikarabad, 37 from Wanaparthy, 26 from Warangal Rural, 76 from Warangal Urban and 38 from Yadadri Bhongir

With this,total no of cases reached 2,08,535,of which 26,374 are active cases,1, 80,953 recovered/discharged cases and 1,208 deceased.

In addition, the Telangana Health Department conducted as many as 53,086 sample tests for COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 tests in Telangana is 34,49,925.

Besides, the recovery rate of Telangana from the Novel Coronavirus is at 86.77%.
