Disappointed with the recently announced Union Budget 2022-2023, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister took a dig at the Central Government.

On the 2nd of February, Wednesday, Mr. K.T.Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, said, “There is nothing in the Union Budget that will benefit the common man.  The center also turned a blind eye to the proposals made by the Telangana government.”

Criticizing the Union Finance Ministry and Union Government, the TRS Working President expressed confidence in the growth and development of the Telugu State, without the Centre’s help.  He said,  even if there are no funds from the Centre, Telangana would continue to develop in a similar manner under the State Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

The statement was made during his visit to Jawahar Nagar, Peerzadiguda, and Boduppal corporations in the Medchal constituency.  Accompanied by TRS Minister Mr. Malla Reddy, KTR laid the foundation stone for several development works.  The development works would be done worth Rs. 303 crores.

Works related to the beautification of Chinnapuram lake in Jawaharnagar were also started.

During the event, the Telangana Minister Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said,”The development works that have not been initiated in the last 60 years have been completed by the TRS government within seven years.  Hundreds of crores are being spent for drinking water supply schemes in the city outskirts.  To improve the services further, the government expected cooperation from the centre.  No funds were given by the centre even during the floods in Hyderabad.  However, he appropriated Rs 1000 crores for floods in Gujarat.”

It is to be noted, in the 2022-2023 budget, there have been no special allocated fund for the development projects in the two Telugu states.
