Mayor elections finally done in Hyderabad, on the 27th of January.

The names which were hold the position of the Mayor in all the eight corporations of Telangana were announced in the evening of the 27th of January. 

While Kolan Nila Reddy was elected as the Mayor of Nizampet corporation, Dhanraj Yadav was announced as the Deputy Mayor.

Samala Buchchi Reddy became the Mayor of Boduppal, Mekala Kavva of Jawaharnagar, Parjatha of Badangpet, Mahendar Goud of Bandlaguda Jagir, Jakka Venkat Reddy of Peerzadiguda, Dandu Nitu Kiran of Nizamabad, Bangi Anil Kumar of Ramagundam and Mudavat Durga of Meerut.

Mayor for Karimnagar municipal corporation would be selected after election on the 29th of January.
