Telangana CM KCR Turns 68 On February 17, B’day Wishes Pour

Fans, followers, and political leaders of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and other political parties extended wishes to Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended birthday wishes to KCR. In a tweet, PM Modi wrote, “Birthday wishes to Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu. Praying for his long and healthy life.”

Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister said, “Birthday wishes to the Chief of Telangana Shri K. Chandrashekhar Rao ji. May you be blessed with good health and a long life.”

Mr. Hemant Biswas, the Chief Minister of Assam said, “Heartiest birthday wishes to honorable Chief Minister of Telangana Shri K Chandrashekar Rao ji. May Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev bless you with good health and long life.”

Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the TRS also extended wishes and tweeted” To a man, who can only dream big, who has made impossible an art of possible, One who leads with a heart full of compassion, One who defines courage and challenges the status quo. A man who I proudly call my leader and my father. May you live long and stay blessed.”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, a sand artist, Sudarshan Pattnaik created a sculpture of Telangana CM KCR on Puri beach, Odisha. In the art, Pattnaik wrote, “The fighter, administrator and visionary. Happy Birthday to KCR Garu (Sir.)”

The TRS cadres and leaders also started three day celebration for the 68th birthday of the TRS President Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao. The party activists and leaders distributed fruits, food and organised blood donation camps, across Telangana. Several leaders including Ministers, Parliament members and legislators made arrangements for cake cutting ceremonies, special pujas, homams, prayers, distribution of sarees, fruits and food.

In addition, Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav would release a documentary of KCR, about plans on national politics, in Hindi, at Telangana Bhavan, Hyderabad.
