The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is all set for national politics in 2023 and is working to spread itself in other states.

After making efforts to strengthen the K. Chandrashekar Rao led BRS in Andhra Pradesh, the BRS, formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is trying to enter the politics of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.

According to sources, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and President of the BRS, approved a few leaders who would be contesting the elections in the aforementioned states.  

Paying more attention to the Karnataka Assembly elections, scheduled in May 2023, KCR President held talks with the Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S) leaders and expressed his intention to field BRS candidates in some of the assembly segments of Bidar, Raichur and Kalaburagi districts.  The regions are said to farmer’s dominated by rural assembly segments.

In addition, the BRS is planning to make Rythu Bandhu, 24 hour free power and Rythu Bhima as election planks in these states.

Besides, Karnataka, the BRS is contemplating expanding itself in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, where polls are scheduled soon.

If sources to be believed, the BRS is making efforts on the grounds of farmer welfare and targeting the segments, where voters are major of agriculture and farming background.

In regard to this national expansion, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is in constant contact with poll experts, bureaucrats and other officials, who would help the BRS to strengthen in India.

With this BRS launch, the Telangana Government is planning to stand against Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central Government.
