Mr. J.P. Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on a visit to Hyderabad, Telangana, on the 27th of August, Saturday.

Mr. J.P. Nadda arrived at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad and was received by the BJP Telangana unit leaders with a warm welcome.  Mr. K. Laxman, the Member of Parliament (MP) of the BJP, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Home Minister of Telangana State, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the BJP in Telangana and other leaders extended a warm welcome to Mr. J.P. Nadda on his arrival in the City.

After entering Hyderabad, Mr. J.P. Nadda met with Ms. Mithali Raj, the former Captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team.  After the meeting, Mr. J.P. Nadda, in his special helicopter flew to Hanmakonda to address a public gathering at the Hanamkonda Arts College.  Later, in the day, Mr. J.P. Nadda would visit the Bhadrakali temple in Warangal before the public meeting and pray to the goddess. 

After the public event in Warangal, the BJP National President Mr. J.P. Nadda would fly back to Hyderabad and meet Tollywood actor Mr. Nithin.

Mr. J.P. Nadda’s power packed day in Hyderabad, with several public meetings, and BJP meetings came ahead of the upcoming Munugode by election in Telangana.

It is to be noted, after the resignation of Mr. Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy (the former Indian National Congress leader) as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Munugode, the seat fell vacant, paving the way for a by election.

Political parties like the BJP, the TRS and the Indian National Congress Telangana unit are working hard to ensure a victory in the Munugode by election.  Notably, the Election Commission of India is yet to announce the date of the Munugode Assembly by election.
