Telangana: BJP Leaders Stage Protest Against Pocharam Srinivas

The Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit staged a protest against the Telangana Assembly Speaker Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.

The three BJP Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) who were suspended  by the Assembly Speakers, gathered at the Indira Park, Hyderabad to protest against the Speaker’s refusal of the Telangana High Court order.  Mr. Eatala Rajender, Mr. Raja Singh and Mr. Raghunandan Rao termed it as ‘Prajaswamya Parirakshana Deeksha’ and conducted a sit in protest.  They wore black scarves at Dharna Chowk and continued their protest  till 3:00 P.M.

In view of the MLAs’ protest, the BJP leaders turned up in huge numbers to Indira Park.  To control the situation and deployed a huge police force at the location.

 Notably, the decision to stage a protest came after the Telangana Assembly Speaker refused to accept the HC orders and refused to withdraw suspension orders of the BJP MLAs.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Budget Assembly Session 2022-2023, which started on the 7th of March, ended on the 15th of March.
