A tragic incident was reported on the 16th of March, Wednesday in Telangana’s Wanaparthy town.
On the evening of the 15th of March, Tuesday, three children identified as Munna, Amjed and Bharat drowned in a lake. According to sources, the three children went swimming and drowned.
As per initial investigation, the police said the victims were students of class 10th and were natives of Bhandara Nagar. When informed about the incident the police rushed to the spot and conducted rescue measures, but could not save the children.
With the help of expert swimmers, the Wanaparthy police continued the rescue operation till late and fished out the bodies on the morning of the 16th of March. Furthermore, the bodies have been sent to the nearest government hospital for autopsy.
In addition, the police registered a case of accident and launched an investigation.
