State affected due to false publicity of BRS: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy alleged that false propaganda or BRS over 100 percent safe drinking water coverage in Telangana has shown bad impact on the state. He said that the state lost a huge amount of funds from the center’s JAL JEEVAN mission.

Addressing a review on water supply Revanth Reddy said that many tribal hamlets and rural areas still have lakhs of water supply. BRS simply spread lies to betray the public in the name of Mission Bhagiratha. People at Khanapur requested me for drinking water when I went there in the election campaign, Revanth said.

He added that a special action plan will be implemented to request the union government and get funds for the rural drinking water supply. Revanth said that they have sanctioned Rs.10 crores to every constituency as development fund. Rs.1 crores from these funds will be spent for drinking water, he said.
