Dr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao, the founder and chairman of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, passed away on the evening of the 13th of July, Thursday.

According to sources, Mr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao suffered a heart attack at his residence in Hyderabad, Telangana. He was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills but passed away while undergoing the treatment.

After the sudden demise of Mr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) expressed grief.  He tweeted, “I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. B.S. Rao, the visionary founder of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions.  He devoted himself to offering accessible and excellent education to the children of Andhra Pradesh, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy that will be cherished and remembered. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”

Meanwhile, the mortal remains of Dr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao would be transferred to Tadigadapa in Vijayawada, where the final rites will be conducted.  The last rites would be held after Dr. Boppana Satayanarayana’s  daughter, Seema Bopanna, who is currently abroad, would arrive in Andhra Pradesh.
