The southwest monsoon, which has entered the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is moving further, expanding in all the parts of the two states.

On the 20th of June, Monday, the Amaravati Meteorological Department announced that the southwest monsoon would now extend further into Andhra Pradesh, West Central and Northwestern Bay of Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and some other parts of Bihar in the next three days. 

The State Weather Department further mentioned that in the next three days, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would continue to receive light to moderate rain along with thundershowers.  In addition, the isolated regions of the two states would likely witness heavy showers in south coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema for the next three days, the 21st, the 22nd, and the 23rd of June.

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon has hit the coast of Kerala, said the Indian Meteorological Department.

On the other hand, the people of Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh are facing difficulties and traffic issues, amid water logging situations in many regions.
