On the 16th of January, Monday, a shocking incident of a double death was reported in Telangana.

On Monday, a mother and son were found hanging in their home in Chekkapalli of Vemulawada rural Mandal.  Although the incident occurred on Sunday, the 15th of January, the matter came to light, the next day.

According to the sources, the victim who died were identified as Kondaveni Mallavva (55) and her son Kanakaiah (30.)  They were found hanging from the ceiling in their house.  The details of the two victim and the reason behind their suicide is yet to be known.

The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
