The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Telangana Police is investigating the controversial Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Poaching Case.

Moving ahead with the investigation, the SIT revealed the role of Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana’s relative, an advocate form Karimnagar.

Getting into the details, the investigation revealed an advocate from Karimnagar, allegedly was in contact with the three accused arrested in the TRS MLAs Poaching Case.  During the interrogation at the Rajendranagar Police Station, the arrested accused identified as Mr. Ramachandra Bharati, alias S. Satish Sharma, from Delhi and Mr. Simhayajulu from Tirupati, both said to be temple priests and Mr. Nanda Kumar, a businessman from Hyderabad, a close associate of a union minister.

On the 10th of November, Thursday, the police have taken the three accused into custody, for further investigation.  Furthermore, the police would also record the voice samples of all the three accused to match with the video evidence, released by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Recently, KCR released a video in which a voice was heard offering Rs. 100 crores to the TRS MLAs and blamed the BJP for poaching their MLAs.

In addition, the SIT Telangana also said, one of the accused, Mr. Ramachandra Bharati confessed of poaching the TRS MLAs, at the direction of top BJP leaders in Delhi.  However, details of the interrogation conducted on the 11th of November, are yet to reveal.

It is to be noted, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has granted two days of judicial custody of the three accused for the investigation, which is to end on the 12th of November.

On the other hand, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar and other BJP leaders denied allegations of poaching TRS MLAs and staged protests against the arrest of the three accused.  The BJP also filed a writ petition against the arrest in the Telangana High Court, challenging the judicial custody orders of the ACB Court.
