In Secunderabad, the State level task force of prohibition and excise department conducted raids at the  Secunderabad Railway Station and found 87 bottles of liquor.

The raid was conducted on the night of the 16th of May, Wednesday, on specific information over smuggling of non duty paid liquor, said police.  They arrested three people identified as Anwest from Khammam, Narender from Hanamkonda and Balakrishna from Warangal.

The State Task Force team headed by Mr. N. Anji Reddy caught them with the assistance of Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police.  After an initial investigation, the police said theb three arrested people had brought the liquor from Haryana to sell it in the city and earn profits illegally, without any license.

Moreover, the State Police also registered a case against the three arrested and launched an investigation.
