In the wake of the festive season and Diwali, the South Central Railways (SCR) is going to run six special trains between Secunderabad and Agartala.  The additional trains would be an advantage for passengers and the railways to clear the extra rush during the festival season.

The special trains (train No. 07030) is going to depart from Secunderabad on the 8th of November, the 15th of November and the 22nd of November (Mondays.)  The train would depart from Secunderabad at 4:35 P.M., and arrive in Agartala at 3 A.M. (Thursdays, after 48 hours of journey.)

The return direction, train No. 07029 is going to leave Agartala at 6:10 A.M., on the 12th, the 19th and the 26th of November (Fridays) and arrive at Secunderabad at 2:50 P.M., on Sundays. 

The station stop in between Secunderabad- Agartala are: Guntur, Vijayawada, Rajamahendravaram, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Rd, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Dankuni, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Cooch Behar, New Alipurduar, New Bongaigaon, Kamakhya, Guwahati, New Haflong, Badarpur Jn, New Karimganj, Dharmanagar and Ambasa stations, in both directions.

There would be sleeper class, AC III tier, AC II tier and general second class coaches for passengers.
