The Supreme Court, which reviewed a plea filed against the anticipatory bail of Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, adjourned the matter to the 13th of June.

Notably, Ms. Sunitha, the daughter of Vivekananda Reddy, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, seeking the cancellation of anticipatory bail of Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, the Member of the Parliament (MP) of Kadapa district.

The plea was filed after the  Telangana High Court (HC) granted anticipatory bail to Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, who has been issued a summons to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Hyderabad.   He filed a petition after fearing arrest by the CBI, as he skipped several interrogations by the CBI Hyderabad.  However, the anticipatory bail was given to Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, a leader of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) was challenged in the Top Court.

 

 

In her filed plea, Ms. Sunitha said that Y.S. Avinash Reddy played a crucial role in the murder of Mr. Y.S, Vivekananda Reddy.  Expressing her opinion, Ms. Sunitha highlighted that all the charge sheets and affidavits submitted by the CBI against Avinash Reddy are of a serious nature, but the Telangana court has allegedly overlooked them.

Meanwhile, it is to be noted, the Supreme Court has asked the CBI Hyderabad to resolve the 2019 Murder Case of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, by the 30th of June.
