Ms. Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, visited Yadadri Temple in Telangana, on the 30th of December, Friday.

It is to be noted, Ms. Droupadi Murmu is on a five day tour to Telangana for her Southern Sojourn.

According to sources, Ms. Droupadi Murmu visited the newly renovated Yadadri Temple of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple and participated in a special pooja, organised for her arrival.  She was welcomed by the priests of the Yadadri Temple and was accompanied by her daughter Itishri Murmu.

In addition, Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, Mr. A. Indrakaran Reddy, the Endowment Minister of Telangana, Mr. G. Jagdish Reddy, the Energy Minister of Telangana, Mr. Sathyavathi Rathod, the Tribal Welfare Minister of Telangana and other leaders attended the event at Yadadri Temple.

After visiting the temple, Ms. Droupadi Murmu left for Hyderabad, from where she is scheduled to leave for Delhi on the 31st of December, Saturday, concluding her 5 day Telugu states tour.
