Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, is scheduled to visit Hyderabad, on the 13th of February.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) confirmed the visit, which was earlier scheduled on the 19th of January but was postponed due to other work commitments.

It is to be noted, During the visit, PM Narendra Modi would launch several development projects in the Telugu State of Telangana. 

According to sources, during the one day visit, PM Narendra Modi would inaugurate South Central Railway development works worth Rs. 2,400 crores, modernisation of Secunderabad railway station at a cost of Rs. 700 crores, doubling of the railway line between Secunderabad and Mahabubnagar at a cost of Rs. 1,231 crores and works on Kazipet railway coach workshop at a cost of Rs. 521 crores.  In addition, PM Narendra Modi would also have inaugurated various Indian Institute Technology (IIT) buildings, which would accommodate 5,000 students with 18 hostel buildings. 

In addition, Mr. Narendra Modi would also address a public meeting at the parade grounds in Secunderabad, Telangana.

Furthermore, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is likely to meet the Prime Minister of India, this time.  It is to be noted, in the past, the Telangana CM has skipped many public meetings and arrivals of Mr. Narendra Modi in Telangana.
