Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, addressed the students of the Indian School of Bussiness (ISB) in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana.

During the address, Mr. Narendra Modi took a dig at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government and Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Mr. Narendra  Modi said, “The struggle for Telangana was not for just one family to rule using all possible tactics.”   He said due to the dynastic politics in the Telugu State, youths are not getting a chance into the State politics.

Mr. Narendra Modi said, “‘Pariwarwaadi’ parties only think about their own development. These parties do not care about the poor people, their politics is focused on how a single-family can stay in power and loot as much as they can.  They do not have any interest in the development of people.”  He called family politics as the “biggest enemy of democracy.”

Mr. Modi addressed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and students at the ISB Campus and said, “Our country has seen how corruption becomes the face of those political parties dedicated to one family.”  The criticism was in the view that TRS Cabinet is filled with leaders who are also relatives and family members of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao.  Some of the leaders who hold the State Cabinet portfolio are Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, Ms. K. Kavitha and Mr. T. Harish Rao.

Furthermore, taking a dig at the superstitious nature of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Prime Minister of India said, development does not work if leaders are superstitious.  Citing his own example, Mr.  Narendra Modi said, “I believe in science and technology.  I also congratulate Yogi Adityanath, who is a saint but does not believe in superstition.  We have to save Telangana from such superstitious people.”

Mr. Narendra Modi also condemned the recent attacks of the TRS Government on the BJP leaders of the State.

Notably, after the Hyderbad meeting, Mr. Narendra Modi would leave for Chennai.
