PM Modi Praises BJP In Telangana And Says BJP Is Only Party In Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana Unit, for strengthening the party in the Telugu State of Telangana.

On the 28th of March, Tuesday, Mr. Narendra Modi said, “In Telangana, people now have confidence only in one party, BJP and in Andhra Pradesh also people are looking towards us.” Highlighting the expansion of the BJP in south India, PM Narendra Modi said that the party has a strong hold in Karnataka and now is looking to strengthen more in Telangana.

The statement of Mr. Narendra Modi was made during the launch of the residential complex of the BJP Party in New Delhi.  

During the inauguration event, Mr. Narendra Modi also said how the BJP Telangana Unit is gearing up for the upcoming 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.  

Notably, in south India, after holding power in Karnataka, now the BJP is eyeing for the Telangana Assembly elections and win against the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS.)

The Telangana Assembly elections are due in 2023 April-May.  The Election Commission of India (ECI) is yet to announce the schedule for the elections.
