The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out multiple raids on various renowned pharma companies in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The raids carried out on the 1st of April, Saturday morning amid allegations of tax evasion, license issue and counterfeit medicines.   The Directorate of Enforcement has initiated raids at 15 locations, including Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur and Patancheru.    

The major companies which are being inspected are pharmaceutical companies Zuven Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and Pulsus Pharma in Hyderabad.  Besides pharma companies, the team of ED officials also conducted searches at a leading real estate firm Phoenix and Sahitya Infra.
