The India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad (IMD-H) issued an orange alert in Hyderabad, amid the continuous rainfall.

On the 23rd of July, Saturday, the IMD predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in many isolated parts of Hyderabad.  Under the orange alert, the IMD issued an alert for the concerning disaster management authority to be prepared for the likely rainfall in the City.

Furthermore, the weather department has also predicted water pooling on roads and low-lying areas, electricity and other social disturbances for hours, and drainage clogging or overflowing in various regions of Telangana. 

In addition, the rainfall is likely to continue for the next 24 to 48 hours, within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
