No Conflict Between TRS Govt And Telangana Governor, Says KTR

There is no conflict between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government and the Telangana Governor  Ms. Tamilisai Soundrararajan.

On the 7th of April, Thursday, after Ms. Soundararajan’s meeting with Mr. Amit Shah and news of rift between the TRS Government and the TRS Governor, the Working President of the TRS Mr. K.T. Rama Rao clarified.  He said, there were no conflicts between the Government and the Governor.  He further added that they would definitely respect when the Governor acts like a Governor.  Mr. K.T. Rama Rao asked, “As to who insulted whom?  When did we insult the Governor? Why would we have conflicts with the Governor? Why is she thinking like that?  We will definitely respect the Governor when the Governor acts like a Governor.

We did not do anything which is disrespectful to the Governor’s office.  Why is she thinking like that?” 

Taking a  dig at the Telangana Governor TRS leader said that Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan was a BJP leader in Tamil Nadu before becoming the Governor.  He said, “I heard somewhere that she had rejected Kaushik Reddy’s MLC plea because he is a politician.  What was she till yesterday?  She was the BJP Tamil Nadu president before.  We have respect for the constitutional systems.  We did not have any issues with the Governor. Why we would have issues, she should also think before talking.”

It is to be noted, Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan met with PM Narendra Modi and  Mr. Amit Shah and discussed the welfare works and development of Telangana.  She further expressed displeasure over being left out by the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Government.  Notably, the TRS Government conducted the Telangana Budget Session 2022-2023 without the Governor’s address.
